Dancefight
CTO, Principle iOS Developer.
I was originally contracted to manage a small team to build a prototype that would interest investors. The app was successfully launched in 2020 and quickly became the home for the street dance community.
Following the successful launch I was asked to join the team as CTO.
I continued as CTO until the company was acquired by ARIA Ventures in 2025.
Dancefight
Dancefight is a street dance competition platform where users can upload themselves dancing to compete 1 v 1 or in bracket style tournaments
Technical Overview
Dancefight was originally prototyped on iOS using Google Cloud Platform and a variety of third party services. Later Android and a simple website were added along with the transition to AWS utilising S3, Lambda, MediaConvert and Cloudfront.
